I have been holding off on blogging about Sevilla because there is just so much to see and do. I promise I will put up a blog featuring furniture/decor shopping in Sevilla and also restaurants and hidden places people don’t go outside of the city center BUT I also love art and every Sunday from 10am to 2pm there is a art market located on the Triana side of Sevilla under the Triana Bridge (Puente de Isabel). This art market is called El Paseo de Arte. If you are looking for it, it is easy to find, right below el mercado de Triana. There are a plethora of different types of crafts from dolls, jewelry, blankets, leather goods, portrait painters, watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings. I LOVE finding art at a reasonable price and this is the place to do it.
After you have strolled around looking at art, go get some grub at one of these places in Triana.
La Vega 10 has delicious food with good flare and an ambiance to boot. The titaki is good along with the risotto. YUM! Rosario Vega 10
La Brunilda Tapas isn’t in Triana but it is a short distance across the river and worth every step. Unfortunately this place is popular so get there early. Galera 5
Manu Jara is always baking up fresh pastries. Their pastries are very french in style. If you just need a snack this is your place. Calle Pureza 5
Liceo Triana is the place to go if you want local flare that has an out of this world touch. They also have a major selection of wines. Plaza Del Altozano, 9,
However, today my friends and I walked to this little joint, which houses Andalucian products through out the region and serves up some pretty great tapas too. The owner is adorable and very sweet. She just opened in December 2014. She is also knowledgeable about wines. The bottle we devoured was fantastic along with the food! Abaceria La Cantinela on calle Castelar.
